Here is how you get started using Reading Playgrounds with your students:
How do I login to my Teacher Dashboard?
To login to your Teacher Dashboard, go to playground.reallygreatreading.com and choose Launch My Apps Pad. Choose Teacher Dashboard in the upper right hand corner and click on “Launch.” If you have classes, you will see all of your classes on the My Classes Screen. If you do not see a class, you will need to add your class. Launch your class from here.
How do my students login to Reading Playgrounds?
Students who are not using Classlink or Clever will go to rgr.fun and enter a 3-word password separated by “.” or by “-”. Countdown and Blast students will need to enter their School Code (found in the bottom left hand corner of your Teacher Dashboard) and then enter their 3-picture or word passcode.
You can find a student’s password in your Teacher Dashboard (Apps Pad) by clicking on My Classes or Manage Classes, choosing the class your student is in, and viewing their password. You can also generate a new password for your student here. Once logged in, students will choose their assigned program and begin play.
Where Should I Start with My Students?
We recommend assigning your students the Beginning of Program Assessment (BOP) to give you data on your students before beginning instruction. You may find this video of how Teachers and Students log in useful. This video can be located in your News & Resources section- just type "login" in the search bar. News & Resources is a helpful self-service feature of your dashboard. It is packed full of helpful Getting Started materials, PDFs, Video Tutorials, and answers to FAQs.
